About me

I'm Tracy Hope, founder of Language Plus and workshop lead. I have a degree in primary education and am a certified teacher of English as another language. I have taught students from age 5-13 in my native New Zealand. I have two teenage children at school in Zurich. I have a special passion for supporting those wanting to integrate in Switzerland.

I love reading and writing, and as a teacher I have a passion for literacy and supporting children in finding their own passions. I am studying towards a Masters in literacy education and have developed a learning program that is fun, engaging and effective for early reading and writing.

When I'm not in the classroom you'll find me reading a book, writing fiction, hiking or riding my scooter around Lake Zürich, and generally enjoying life in Switzerland with my family.
