About me
I'm Tracy Hope, founder of Language Plus and workshop lead. I have a degree in primary education and am a certified teacher of English as another language. I have taught students from age 5-13 in my native New Zealand. I have two adult children who grew up in Switzerland after spending their early years in Aotearoa NZ.
I love reading and writing, and as a teacher I have a passion for literacy and supporting children in finding their own passions. As part of my recent studies in specialist literacy education I am developing a learning program that is fun, engaging and effective for early reading and writing.
When I'm not in the classroom you'll find me reading a book, writing fiction, hiking or riding my scooter around Lake Zürich, and generally enjoying life in Switzerland with my family.
